Village Voice's Description

Businessmen looking to impress clients often take them to the New York outpost of this national chain. The first reason is the view provided by the floor-to-ceiling windows in this giant, three-story space that look out onto 6th Avenue near Rockefeller Center. The second reason is the steak, made with aged USDA prime beef. Filet mignon, ribeye and prime strip steak should satiate your beef craving, with the lamb and veal chops as meaty alternatives. Considering the number of offices in the area, the business lunch special is especially popular, featuring a salad, filet mignon or salmon, and a dessert for $26.95. It's no surprise that a steakhouse catering mostly to the suit-and-tie crowd would have a masculine bent. Soaring wooden beams, black leather banquettes, crisp white table linens and expansive wine racks (don't worry, a sommelier will help guide you through the 40-page wine list) all give off a classic steakhouse vibe.— Keith Wagstaff

Serving all kinds of Prime beef, plus a fair share of meaty foods like veal meatloaf, prime beef rib stroganoff and enough beef medallions to bail out Europe.

Very fancy steakhouse where you might be seated next to any Fortune 500 CEO. The steak is cooked perfectly and the service is exceptional.

Splurge at this steakhouse for a great rib eye with great service, but start off with the crab cake appetizer.

  • Slacker Radio on 10/06/10

We love the crab cakes as well as the 3 steak sampler special. Mouth-watering food for when you're in NYC.

Lemon cake. That's all you need to know.
