Village Voice's Description
David's Tea in Soho hits up all the different types of tea one could want: black, green, herbal, white, rooibos, mate, pu'erh, and oolong, and also sells all the necessary accoutrements for making a good cuppa (filters, teapots, mugs, infusers, travel mugs, and pitchers). Hot cups of tea are also available for purchase, or you can go with seasonal teas like chocolate chili chai to fete the season. If, like, rum-spiked eggnog isn't your thing. --Lauren Shockey
Tips from foursquare
I've already left a tip here, but I have to add:THE SERVICE IS IMPECCABLE. The staff is knowledgeable about EVERY tea the offer, and they're incredibly friendly. David's Tea is making me a tea-lover.
Staff is super friendly and strawberry shortcake iced tea is surprisingly delightful. You'll be a regular in no time!
Banana Bread tea is a must! Very clean, cool, groovy music, super sweet tea baristas :)
Writing Nook Tip: Delicious tea, amazing playlists, cool vibe that flies under because it's a retail store, so it's never packed. Outlets + WiFi!
SO MANY TEAS!!!!!!!! And the staff is so nice.
