Great little wi-fi cafe to do work in Long Island City. Friendly place, the owners are a cute young family with a 2-year-old, and their chicken curry salad sandwich is amazing.

Brew of choice: Irving Farm Coffee. Great atmosphere to bring work or the newspaper, and a surprisingly extensive breakfast and lunch menu.

Seen the Tina Fey-Amy Poehler movie "Baby Mama?" A few scenes were filmed here, like Tina meeting her love interest.

An airy and friendly place for tea/coffee after strolling in the Gantry Plaza State Park in LIC. Cash only. Ask for the WiFi password at the counter. It was purplemonster on Sep 12, 2013.
