Village Voice's Description
Though it's located down the street from Gramercy Park, Cibar isn't one of those austere, solemn cocktail bars. It serves drinks of the same caliber--such as a highbrow Apple Martini (featuring apple juice, apple pucker, champagne, and cinnamon-infused vodka)--but blasts Paramore-style pop-punk and has the loud, young crowd to match. The boisterous, candlelit lounge atmosphere is also at odds with its owner, the gracefully aged and coveted Inn at Irving Place, which is only one floor above, minding its own business.
Tips from foursquare
