Tremendously tasty and artfully created food and wonderful drinks (juice blends + alcohol, too). The chef's seitan dishes are the best anywhere in the world. Great spot for celebrity watching, too! (It's sister establishment, The Candle Cafe is more laid-back but equally yummy.)

  • New York Habitat on 12/07/11

Good for special occasions and dates, this vegan restaurant is good enough to make even the grizzliest of carnivores rethink their eating habits. Definitely try the Seitan Piccata.

  • Metromix on 07/12/10

One of the only vegan restaurant with one-star from the NYT, the eatery gives a new look to chickpea cakes with tomatoes. We like the zucchini enchiladas.

go to this restaurant. eat anything on the menu. try not to start laughing at how good it is.

  • Foodspotting on 01/13/11

Try the Vegan Cannoli And Chocolate Chip Ice Cream and spot it on Foodspotting!

Basically this is a 28 rated Zagat restaurant but vegan. Go with the specials, or the seitan picatta
