Call Box Lounge
Brooklyn, NY 11222
Village Voice's Description
This unpretentious Greenpoint dive, located in the shadows of the BQE, is a nice break from the surrounding areaas hipster gentrification. Knock back some cheap Buds, play the lotto, and enjoy a bad cover band on the weekend, surrounded by old-timey regulars who probably donat know who the Strokes are.
Tips from foursquare
Water not free for "financial" reasons. Cup free. Bathroom Sink free.
The juke box kinda sucks, but if you come with a large group you can totally dominate the dance floor, which has more lasers than I've ever seen in one room
It's like being in Orlando and Brooklyn at the same time
Hey, they play Taking Back Sunday and the bouncer came in to dance. :)
Come dance here on a Friday or Saturday night
