There's a sliding scale of cuisine ranging from streetmunch like carnitas taquitos & grilled corn to a more sophisticated menu served in the back room, where one can expect to find a more daring menu.

Underground hidden restaurant justifies prices on kenmare. Not on wythe.

My new favorite spot. Great food/drinks/ambiance. The corn on the cob is amazing. Brunch scene is going to be awesome. Well done La Esquina!

Worst lunch I've had in Williamsburg. Salad was mostly arugula with 2 jicama strips and 4 pieces of mango. The fish on the side was so so, had to beg to get dressing and the whole thing was $13!
