Village Voice's Description
This Park Slope hole-in-the-wall prepares cappuccinos with liberal froth by day, and wine with ambient lighting by night. Martin, it's owner and namesake, prides himself on comprising its entire culinary team. The atmosphere, with just a few tables scattered among bench-lined walls, is probably as close to the definition of cozy as one can get. For under $10 patrons are able to enjoy a coffee, pastry, and strewn-about copy of the Times in this homey neighborhood establishment. Go for the expertly-crafted espresso, but not to work. A chalkboard sign recently stated their policy better than we can: "No, we don't have wi-fi...TALK to each other!"
