BXL Belgian Cafe
New York, NY 10036
Village Voice's Description
BXL Belgian Cafe is a place that seems out of sorts in Times Square--in the best possible way. The area's lone source for delicious Belgian craft brews and foods, the spot lacks all-inclusive beverages (no Bud here!) and the gaudy sheen of neighboring bars, which keeps out the tourists and instead pulls in after-work media types, beer hounds, and assorted locals. Be sure to order a glass of that tasty foreign stuff and educate yourself via the antique Belgian brew ads lining the walls.
Tips from foursquare
Go to BXL Cafe. Treat yourself to a tripel karmeliet. Or taste any of the belgium beers on tap. The bartenders treat you right.
drink several delirium tremens on tap...
This should be your go-to after work place – the Belgian beer goes nicely with their Moules Frites (try the Grand Mere) or the Belgian-style meatballs.
Miki is the best bartender in town! She rox!
Enjoying some great bier with friends.
