Village Voice's Description
Drawing Wall Street guys both old and youngish, the Brandy Library has a Ritz-Carlton lobby lounge vibe, plus schmaltzy touches like cocktail waitress alibrariansa traversing bottle-lined bookshelves on rolling ladders. But the menu features clever takes on bar food, like the miniature alligator burgers with fries and a abrandy shake,a a mix of bourbon, white chocolate liqueur, and cream ($14). Glasses of brandy and whiskey start at $12, and the special cocktails are delicacies too.
Tips from foursquare

Wonderful, knowledgeable staff. Insanely extensive menu. Lovely old school decor. Truly a library of scotches, cognacs, brandys, etc. More of an encyclopedia... A must for any spirits afficionado.
