Village Voice's Description

Boulevard Drinks has been serving hot dogs as lights at the end of the PATH train since 1937. The closet-sized outpost in Jersey City is known for its dogs that go "snap" when you bite into them -- the sign of a well-cooked brat. Just a couple of bucks will get you a wiener slathered in sauerkraut and saucy onions. For a quarter more splurge on a chili cheese dog. Either way, you won't be the first New Yorker to head across the river for Jersey's finest. --Jessica Goodman

Winner of Best Hot Dog in the Village Voice 2011 Best Of issue! Eschew the more modern establishment for some pure, beefy nostalgia.

The hotdogs are good and the place has a gritty 80s feel to it
