Village Voice's Description
The Oakland-based coffee experts found real estate in Williamsburg and put extra care in each cup, perhaps because it takes about five minutes to brew. Coffee snobs can appreciate the $7 Nel Drip, even if novices might gasp at the price. Blue Bottle baristas prepare beans in a giant vintage Probat roaster and use one of the slowest drips around. Snacks from the pastry kitchen include biscotti, olive oil shortbread, ginger molasses cookies, Brooklyn Bootleg s'mores, and gelato. --Jessica Goodman
