Village Voice's Description

This tiny shoe box of a place offers a commodious dining
room upstairs for what is basically a fast-food take on Nepalese food. The real virtue is that the cuisine remains relatively unreconstructed-- full meals called samaybajis are served on cardboard school cafeteria trays, and include a selection of dried meats, toasted soybeans, and pickled root vegetables. Competing with these are Indian-leaning thalis - round metal trays with a big heap of basmati rice with curries, dals, and pickles arranged around the perimeter like moons orbiting an alien planet. Yelpers hate the momos (meat- or potato-stuffed steamed dumplings), but we thought they were pretty good.

Winner of Best Nepalese in the Village Voice 2011 Best Of issue! Spice rubbed meat dishes make you feel like you're about to scale a mountain.

Beef momo (Nepali dumplings) with cilantro sauce in Bhim's were better than one I tried in Nepal and try spicy chicken roll. Next time we gonna try their veg stuff cause non-veg was very good.

Momos are the best you can find around here.
