Description

Village Voice's Description

Reflecting its Milanese heritage, Bar Veloce was the first East Village Italian wine bar, and it remains a very stylish place to have a drink. The panini are prepared a few inches from your nose, the lighting is indirect and flattering, and the wine list, if not expansive, offers many choice wines by the glass.

This is how you do it: bottle of Prosecco, Nutella Panini, bottle of Presecco. Enjoy!

Great place to go on a date – its dark, romantic, and has a great selection of wines. Splurge on a bottle of Schioppettino and their world famous Nutella Panino.

best to just order a bottle of wine and set up camp. bartenders dress fancy but there's no fancy service.
