Bar Jamón offers the wine list of champions/conquistadors. You'll find nearly 600 varieties here, culled from Asturias, Cantabria, La Rioja, and 14 other spots in the general nexus of Spain. Blanco, rosado, and tinto are the primary types of wine, and they're all damn good, based on the numerous awards this selection has received over the years. And considering how Jamón's modest, wine-filled, no-gimmicks interior is always brimming, it seems the youngsters have caught on. With that said, please don't have the "We'll have to come back here later!" conversation when you encounter a crowded room here--stake out your territory and strike when a person or two departs. A helping of sobrasada and a beverage recommended by one of the kind mustachioed bartenders is worth the wait.

For a quality red, select from the Manchuela DO, based on the bobal grape variety. These full-bodied wines exhibit flavors of wild berry and chocolate, w/ high acidity. Try something new!
One of our more off beat choices, but the Churros Y Chocolate can’t be beat.
