Village Voice's Description
Occupying the former railroad-narrow space of the much beloved Milk and Honey (no hats, no flirting), this new cocktail den by Sam Ross and Michael McIlroy, who are both Milk and Honey alum, keeps the cutting edge mixology and eschews the stuffiness, so hide behind your hat and creepily flirt to your heart's content. Located on the Lower East Side in the center of a trifecta of J, M, F, B, and D stops, it's easily accessible from anywhere in Manhattan or Williamsburg. Though the atmosphere is relaxing enough to spend an entire evening sipping from old-timey cocktail glasses, it's surrounded by a bevy of other bars, clubs, and restaurants to suit whatever your fancy may be.
