Description

Village Voice's Description

Hey kids! Do you like underage drinking? Do you like places owned by Fall Out Boy bassist/smirking emo-scamp Pete Wentz? East Village hole Angels & Kings was shut down last year for only one of these things, but now it's back and gunnin' for that Number One Spot. Oh, and sometimes there's Guitar Hero-so, hey, enjoy that.

  • SPIN on 07/19/11

Owner Pete Wentz started AK as a fun, non-exclusive place anyone could go to. He says, "it's kind of like a dive on steroids." Fun fact: Black Cards played their first gig here.

on Tuesdays: take a picture with one of Trainwreck's DJs - Rob Hitt, Erica Dagley or Baya Voce

  • MeOn C. on 03/05/12

    $1 10 oz draft, $2 domestic bottles, $3 well drinks, $4 jamesons

  • Alex W. K. on 07/17/10

Go tuesdays and ask Rob to play a Midtown song! It will make his life!

  • Austin M. on 05/14/11

Go when there is a scheduled event or it isn't really too crazy. If your just looking for a nice atmosphere to have a drink with some close friends then avoid event nights, and chill.
