Since its founding in 1869, the American Museum of Natural History has collected more than 32 million specimens relating to the natural world and human cultures. The Museum showcases its amazing treasures in the exhibit halls, and behind the scenes more than 200 scientists are at work making new discoveries. Millions of people from around the world visit the Museum each year.

    My oldest son, Jorge, likes all the prehistoric stuff like T-Rex. We always check this museum out for him.

    There are some fascinating exhibits here, my personal favourites being the world famous dinosaur skeletons, the room of gems, and the chronicle of evolution. Children, in particular, could easily spend a day here, and the planetarium and theatre are first quality. Requested admission fees are high for working class people, but it is a spot which I'm sure tourists (or locals... More >>
