Far from merely a wine merchant, Acker Merrall & Condit also specializes in choice wine auctions (since 1998, banking over $50 million gross in wine sales) and hosts an extensive number of wine-education workshops.

Best deals on wine I've seen in the city! Solid bottles for under $10 & an enormous selection. If you live on the UWS you shouldn't go anywhere else to stock up.
Established 1820, run by the Kapon family for generations. Claims to be oldest wine shop in America.
There are a lot of great finds for under $10 wine or even under $5 wine; weekends offer wine/sake tastings too!
Bring your dog, they welcome them and they have treats!
