New York Insight Meditation Center offers lots of great classes. They have frequent meditation sitting sessions, and a variety of classes. The Buddhist meditation practices seem to be very good at lowering stress, but also offer practices to deal with the issues we all face, such as anger, anxiety and other negative emotions. New York Insight also has a very diverse, very welcoming community. I think they have sitting groups for people of color, for dedicated practitioners, etc.
New York Insight is a warm and welcoming place that offers free guided meditation sessions. They also offer beginner meditation classes as well as classes for advanced meditation practitioners. Some of the teachers are really great.
