Description

Most experienced K-town eaters have learned to stick with Won Jo for barbecue. Lots of tiny plates arrive at the table without explanation (kimchi and other preserved things). Hot coals are lowered into the pit in the center of the table. (Some places use gas, which just isn't the same.) With the grill on top, you are set to cook your own beef (get the marinated prime short ribs), pork belly, shrimp, or chicken. (Chicken is boring.) Wrap it up in a leaf of lettuce with some bean paste. Also great are the scallion pancakes with seafood and the pork with kimchi.
