Description
The former Sitka & Spruce space is home to an incredibly earnest effort from Christina Choi, who helped make Foraged and Found such a success. That's chef Choi diners see in the peek-a-boo view into the bustling kitchen, creating clever dishes using local ingredients. The menu's on the blackboard and it changes often. The one constant is knoepfli, a spaetzle noodle pan-fried with cabbage and leeks. Add heft to this pasta by adding on a bratwurst from Rain Shadow Meats or a poached egg or both. It's also exciting to see elk meatballs on the menu. Still, the tiny dining room can feel cold and clatter-y when it's busy, service can be maddeningly slow and the flavors can fall flat, but those are small bumps that can be smoothed. Dinner is now served on Friday and Saturday.
