Everyone at Murphy's Pub seems to have an accent. The bartenders and owner are serious Irish folk, while the crowd is a mixture of just-left-work New Yorkers and your classic bridge 'n' tunnel crowd, who have their own dialect. Like their Irish bar-brother down the street, the Pig 'n' Whistle, Murphy's has Shepherd's Pie on the menu, flaunts antique Guinness advertisements on the wall, and displays a large assortment of TV's above the bar. Murphy's, however, is smaller and built in the shape of hallway, amplifying the intensity of an already pleasantly intense crowd.
