Description

Mugsy's narrow but beautiful interior makes it feel ages old, the kind of cozy that can't be replicated by chance design. It also comes from a staff that takes the time to know your name and foster a feeling of camaraderie among the regulars. Mugsy's front and back patios offer an outdoor refuge perfect for posting up with a brew and enjoying the fair weather. Just past the inside bar, a room with several booths and a few large televisions has apparently found great favor with local sports fanatics. There are no quiet weekends, needless to say.

You might not expect to find a kick-ass Bloody Mary at a mini-mall, but Mugsy's, an Upper Kirby staple, offers just that. Sandwiched between a tanning salon and a drive-through bank, Mugsy's serves its Bloody Mary as a perfect blend of spicy and hot, with a kick that will leave you gasping for a glass of water and feeling like you just ate a meal.
