Probably Margate's best-known watering hole, Mugshots, located off State Road 7, offers up a laid-back atmosphere with poker nights, bike nights, and karaoke. Knickknacks litter the wall behind the bar, and the TVs that line the wall above play anything from PBS to the Amazing Race. The bar doesn't serve hard liquor (just beer and wine), but the casual atmosphere doesn't seem conducive for heavy drinking. Instead stop by to knock back some cold ones while playing some poker or pool. Bike night is on Thursday, Poker night is on Sundays and Mondays, and Karaoke is every Friday.
