Description

This is one happy, happy place. Bar manager Erik Carlson keeps the booze flowing at crowd-pleasing prices with two happy hours daily in this stylish Ballard sushi spot. Check out their LED Sakura tree from Japan, which just looks more impressive the more you get lit up on the bar's more than 25 specialty cocktails. Hey, there's sushi here too, with extensive nigiri offerings from sources near and far, some even flown in from Tsukji Market in Tokyo. Yes, they also rock the rolls. If you're not a sushivore, you'll find a yakimono menu with many grilled items from beef to shiitake mushrooms, or get your deep-fried itch scratched with the tempura menu.

San Francisco transplant Erik Carlson has brought an amazing and eclectic cocktail menu to this restaurant on Ballard Avenue. A great addition to our city, we're lucky to have him.
