Mo's - CLOSED

Description

Although Mo's is most definitely a gay bar, the Broadway spot is open to all, with a modest, clean interior set up almost exclusively for socializing. The light-hardwood floors are dotted with low-back leather couches and chairs that huddle around coffee tables, and a short, unassuming bar in the corner serves more as a beverage station than a focal point. Most of the time, televisions blaring diva-saturated music videos serve as entertainment, but the occasional DJ, music event or drag show comes across Mo's calendar a few times each season. Dance crowds often spill over from the adjoining Bar Standard, and in the summers, Mo's bi-level rooftop patio becomes a destination for day drinks. A great meeting place to pre-game before a night out, Mo's offers reasonably priced drinks served by cordial bartenders in a low-drama environment conducive to friendly conversation.
