Located at the Farm at South Mountain, this peaceful, pretty, outdoor eatery feels totally rural but isn't out of the way at all. And no surprise, Morning Glory is all about breakfast. Most of the menu items are savory -- check out the top-notch omelets -- but there are options for diners with a sweet tooth, including buttery French toast, Belgian waffles, and the syrup-drenched Monte Cristo, a sandwich made with French toast, thin slices of ham, melted Swiss cheese, and perfect over-easy eggs with smooth, gooey yolks. Between the good food and charming atmosphere, this is hands-down one of the best brunch spots in town.

It's a glorious morning every morning when your farm-fresh breakfast comes from Maya's Farm -- which should be easy given that the farm sits right next to this pretty al fresco patio in the back of The Farm at South Mountain. It's not out of the way at all (just a few minutes from downtown Phoenix), and a.m. eaters can help themselves to a cup of self-serve coffee before digging into scrumptious homestyle eats such as stellar seasonal omelets, buttery French toast, locally made... Tucked at the back of The Farm at South Mountain, Morning Glory is our favorite way to start the day when we're in this part of town. You can go with the light fruit and granola or pig out on anything from a down-home "cowboy" breakfast of chili and eggs (with griddled bread!) or white truffle scrambled eggs with fresh local veggies. Best of all (except maybe for mimosas with fresh-squeezed orange juice) is the casual, red-and-white-checked tablecloth atmosphere. Morning Glory bills itself... More »
