Description

Don't let the informal name fool you; MoMo's isn't a sauce-stained oilcloth kind of joint. It's an old-world Italian trattoria, which is kind of like a bistro. The appetizer list includes the standards like a Caprese salad and fried calamari, but also includes the signature salad of lobster and hearts of palm tossed with Boston lettuce and salty smoked salmon with a dressing of lemon and oil. Regional favorites, like small Emilian ravioli and amatriciana, share table space with house specialties, most of which end in "alla MoMo." The Knox location offers something its sister in Addison doesn't -- brunch, a popular meal where, with a purchase of an entrée like Frittata Con Fettuccini, customers enjoy a dollar mimosa. For those craving a "healthy" portion of pasta but who are seemingly prevented from doing so for health reasons, no worries. Ask a server for the selection of gluten-free pasta.
