Despite these things sounding like a pirate's choice of death, they are actually just a few of the tropical tiki drinks found at the Molokai Bar in Fort Lauderdale. Housed inside the polynesian theme restaurant, the Mai-Kai, this quaint-sized bar is just a hop, skip, and a jump away from being a portal straight to Hawaii. Extremely dimly lit and dripping in tiki charm, the Molokai bar is the ideal spot to go to forget about all your troubles. A long wooden bar with bikini-clad waitresses extends throughout the room, with high-top tables throughout. Adorned in waterfalls, nautical accouterments, and ocean sounds, this bar couldn't get more majestic. However, lightweights beware, the drinks – especially the elusive rum barrel – at the Molokai will certainly put some hair on the chest.
