Jeannie Liu founded and runs this shop smack in the middle of Ballard Avenue's hip zone, where she has blended coffee-shop cool with the inherent mellow vibe of the tea leaf. If you don't know much about tea, you'll have a few head-scratching moments trying to decide what to order on this huge menu. Within the category of black tea, for example, more than 50 different varieties must be pondered. It just gets more complicated when you move onto the other categories - green, oolong, white, roobiyos, yellow, chai, yerba matte and the botanicals. Once you choose what to drink, think about a pastry or chocolate as accompaniment.
