This Nigerian restaurant is decorated with a backlit transparency of the World Trade Center and a colorful poster entitled "The Historic Visit of President Bill Clinton of U.S.A." A bowl of water on each table invites you to wash your hands before proceeding. We enjoyed a bowl of "mixed meat soup" containing many cow parts, including steak, impenetrable tripe, feet, skin, and heart matched with a tasty plantain mash called amala that's a rather alarming shade of brown. Easier to eat, and not as fiery hot, was a combo soup of melon seed and manioc leaf sided with pounded white-yam fufu.
