Description

City Pages' Description

It makes perfect sense to have a West Seventh bar close to downtown that caters directly to the hockey diehards, but Tom Reid's isn't just another place to catch the Wild game on TV or hang out before a game. Established by the former North Stars defenseman and current Wild broadcast team member, its memorabilia-strewn atmosphere and puck-shaped awning makes it feel more like a small-scale hockey museum than a standard sports bar.

Two for ones on Friday nights (with the exception of when there is an event at the Xcel) make this place a cheap place to have drinks. A decent patio in the summer does not hurt either.

I don't know much about St. Paul bars, but I can say that I have been to Tom Reid's Hockey City Pub twice and I have had excellent food & service each time.
