Founded in 1974, the Loft is the nation's largest literary center, serving more than 50,000 people annually. It offers a wide range of programs for writers and literature lovers, including classes, workshops, performances, readings by prominent authors, grants for writers, and a radio program featuring literary news.

    Great space for downtown meetings, free wi-fi and plenty of plug-ins. The food is good, too. They have a delicate jasmine tea from Tea Source and the Aremenian Lentil Soup was chock full of tomatoes,

    I work out of the house and love going here to hang out and work. Coffee and food are good. The place is chill. You just feel part of a bigger intellectual thing that's going on.
