Built into the ruins of what was once the world’s largest flour mill, Mill City Museum is located on the historic Mississippi Riverfront. Here, visitors of all ages learn about the intertwined histories of the flour industry, the river and the city of Minneapolis.

    Completed in 1880, the Washburn A Mill was declared the world's largest flour mill. It was nearly destroyed by fire in 1991, and after the city cleaned the rubble, it was converted into this museum.

    The flour tower is a sweet freight elevator ride with snippets of history. To top it off a view of the falls, and stone arch bridge from the 9th floor.
