Five Guys Burgers and Fries
Edina, MN 55435
City Pages's Description
This Virginia-based chain keeps things simple with its short, focused menu and no-frills ambiance--the ordering line is divided from the dining area by a wall of 50-pound potato sacks and big boxes of peanuts and diners are encouraged to help themselves and throw the shells on the floor. At Five Guys, two patties come standard on a "regular" burger ("small" indicates just one, though nothing on the menu seems to suggest this). The meat stays moist and has a straightforward, beefy flavor, but the bun and cheese are kind of boring--good thing the skin-on fries are superb and abundant.
Tips from foursquare
The regular fries are enough for two people. But they're really tremendous!
free peanuts while you're waiting. great fries. good prices. I think I like the Smashburger flavor better though.
The "little" burgers are still 3.5oz and the regular fries can feed two! I suggest the Cajun fries.
Everything is big here. A little burger and reg fries was too much!
I've been here 54 times in a little over a year. Consistently great burger and fries. Always friendly service.
