City Pages' Description
The ambiance may leave something to be desired, but Fasika's traditional Ethiopian food is served at decent prices ($9 to $19, with most entrees in the $12 range). Dishes can be made with beef, lamb, chicken, fish, or vegetables, but you won't find shrimp, goat, or other more exotic carnivorous options. Try the "Ultimate Combination" for a sampling of nearly everything on the menu ($36.50), which is more than big enough to share with a friend or two. A small amount of off-street parking is in a lot behind the building, but on-street parking is readily available.
Tips from foursquare
Voted Best Ethiopian Restaurant by City Pages 2010 Best of the Twin Cities. The vegetarian plate is one of Fasika’s best dishes. It comes on a platter nearly 2 ft. wide and could easily feed 2 people
Easily the best Ethiopian food in town. Order anything and it'll be great.
