City Pages' Description
Closed September 2010.
St. Paul has a noticeable shortage of two very important teenage rites of music-geek passage: a cool independent music store, and a true all-ages venue. Thankfully, Eclipse covers both bases, selling used and new vinyl, DVDs and CDs at the front of the store and hosting early-evening punk and indie shows at the back. Factor in their cool retro arcade featuring classic video games and pinball machines, and you've got everything an after-school hangout would need.
