Convention Grill & Fountain
Edina, MN 55424
City Pages' Description
Happy Days has led us to believe it was conventional in the 1950s to have endless access to real ice-cream malts, real handmade burgers, real golden fries, real neon out front, and real crowds inside--and the Convention Grill fulfills these conventions enthusiastically and well.
Tips from foursquare
Wow. Burger, fries and a malt for two for less than $25.
Get the standard: Burger, fries and a malt. This place might be the best restaurant of its kind in the Twin Cities.
Portions are far larger than they were in the 50's, so split the malts w a friend. Play the juke box & sit at the counter & watch the cooks grill everything. Plaza burger w sour cream & fried onions
If somebody knows of a better Egg Salad sandwich than Convention Grill's, please let me know... otherwise the best Egg Salad Sandwich IMO.
