City Pages' Description
The Cities' longest-lived Mexican restaurant is also one of its most beloved, not so much because the standard American-Mexican menu is that radically different from others in town--though the spicy guisado chipotle, a pork stew with nopalitos (sliced cactus) is a treat--but because the all-around level of atmosphere, service, and food is so high.
Tips from foursquare
I dig the Platillo Acapulco. It's a massive shrimp fajita dinner. Free chips and salsa. Best Margaritas! Also good is the Tacos Monterey with chicken.
Their salsa and chips is the best! The only place I purchase tortilla chips.
Cucumber margarita. I'm just sayin'.
The salsa is hot for Minnesotans. Ask for mild salsa then mix in some regular salsa.
