Description

Though it's located in a nondescript strip center, the inside looks like an ice house and turns out very popular burgers and sandwiches. The patties are medium thick, the fries are wide and poppy seeds give the buns an extra crunch. Service is fast. Diners can experiment with different toppings like mushrooms and guacamole. Make sure to grab some extra napkins for to-go orders.

    I don't understand why Miller's Cafe is not ranked as the Best Burger joint in Houston. The ingredients are top-notch, the burger is large, you can have your burger with an almost unlimited variety of ingredients (e.g. cheddar or bleu cheese instead of American), and most importantly, the burgers are expertly prepared and really delicious. The chief cook at this location Margarita (sp?) really knows how to prepare a great burger. I like to sit at the bar and watch him churn out these great burgers. My one complaint with this restaurant - the fries are not fresh-cut, they're frozen. Despite my repeated pleas with the staff there after they switched to frozen fries several years ago, my pleas went unanswered and they still continue to serve frozen fries. C'mon guy, please go back to fresh-cut fries - they were among the best fries in Houston! So if you're a serious burger lover like me, you have to give this restaurant a try. I've tried other locations and they're not as good as this one. Come and enjoy a great burger, then write a review here and tell all your friends. These burgers are a treasure.

    Miller's is great! The burgers are awesome. All the Miller's Cafe's are family owned and the atmosphere is very friendly. If you go in there at least 2 times they are going to start remembering you! I recommend the cheeseburger!.
