If you like watching sports at a crowded bar in Kendall, this is the place. There are over 30 HDTV sets around the bar area, all tuned to whatever games are on. Yet, this place seems to know how to pack ’em in without giving up its Cheers-like friendliness because not only can you you imbibe here, but you can also ingest. Appetizers include the ubiquitous nachos, wings, and spinach dip, but are all executed well and filled with tongue-tingling flavor. Be pleasantly surprised by the just-right jambalaya swimming with shrimp, sausage, chicken, peppers, tomatoes, onions, and rice ($10.95). Or try the sinful (in a good way) seafood combo ($12.99); it comes with the usual suspects — shrimp, fish, clams, and scallops — plus sides of coleslaw and hush puppies. All dishes are perfect accompaniments for the plethora of foreign and domestic draft beers, as well as a variety of games playing on the many massive flat-screen TV sets.
