Mikawaya, a popular brand of mochi ice cream sold in grocery stores such as Trader Joe's, has a cash-only store in the Japanese Village Plaza, selling retail items and freshly made traditional Japanese pastries (wagashi), ice cream and frozen yogurt. There are many flavors of mochi ice cream here, all for $1 a ball.
