Mia's is a wholly American concept from the Carrabba family; the only Italian influences you'll find here are in the meatball and Italian sausage burgers. Otherwise, the menu is pure Americana: baskets of fried chicken strips, pulled pork sandwiches and St. Louis-style ribs. There are even corn dogs for the kids, as well as coloring books and a free soft-serve ice cream dispenser for after the meal. Mia's fast-casual counter service makes it easy to dine here with a group, and its menu seems purpose-built for picky eaters — so the sprawling place is usually filled out, patio and all, with families and huge tables of friends.
