Miami, FL 33132
Temple Israel of Greater Miami is among South Florida’s oldest synagogues. And its newest.
Steeped in 90 years of history, we have members who have been part of the Temple family for generations, worshipping in a main sanctuary that is the longest in continuous use in Florida.
So too, Temple Israel is on the Jewish community’s leading edge. Our spiritual leader Rabbi Tom Heyn and scholar-in-residence Rabbi Mitchell Chefitz are grounded in Jewish tradition, yet creatively developing a far-reaching vision and synergy that is compelling to engage new generations of Jews.
