Maya Tapas & Grill
Miami Beach, FL 33139
Miami New Times' Description
Maya advertises itself as an Argentine and tapas restaurant, but the extensive three-page menu lists hummus ($7.95), gazpacho ($4.95), Moroccan semi-boneless half chicken ($17.95), and cheese risotto ($18.95), among other items. As expected from an Argentine restaurant, there is a selection of steaks and chops, including signatures such as asado ($24.95), skirt steak ($21.95), and filet mignon ($32.95). All come with a choice of sauces. Sides such as truffle mash ($5.95) and grilled tomato and ricotta salad ($7.95) are available à la carte. Located near Lenox Avenue on the west end of Lincoln Road Mall, the place offers no indoor seating, and servers, although friendly, work hard to dodge pedestrians. Maya offers a 10 percent discount to locals who show ID. Drink specials change daily.
Tips from foursquare
Try the bruschetta. Fresh and cool on a hot Miami afternoon.
The manager needs to learn how to honor four square discounts. It's all good.
The four square special works! We got a bunch of tapas and split them and then free dessert and 10% off! The lava cake was legit hot chocolate molten lava.. Be careful
Roberto is a veeeery nice Guy !!!
Very good food. Very atentious manager. We ordered Lobster and Shrimp a la Plancha with spagetti. Very well served and delicious! The Walter Mário was very nice.
