Metropolitan Markets are great. They feature a lot of local products. They carry a lot of products from Salumi and Beecher's Cheese, so it's kind of a nice one-stop shop. There are several in the city, but I love this one on top of Queen Anne. They always are doing different demonstrations - chefs are always in there cooking from their books or cooking with their products. People go in and it's like happy hour in there! They'll go in and have all these snacks, people visit with each other, everybody knows each other, and then they're shopping, which is great... it's like the foodie happy hour.
