Description

Metro Organic Bistro is a relatively recent addition to the MiMo District's booming restaurant row on Biscayne Boulevard between 50th and 77th streets. The décor is similar to culinary neighbors Uva 69 and Moonchine Asian Bistro. There are clean lines, lots of steel accents, indoor and outdoor seating, and posh, quirky adornments such as a white and brown cowhide couch. Nestled in the same lushly green complex as Karma Car Wash, the place offers an all-organic menu that boasts stunning, fresh, and beautifully arranged tuna Niçoise ($16), lamb T-bones infused with garlic and thyme served with mint-cucumber yogurt ($23), and a fancy burger made with grass-fed filet mignon and a special kick of fontina cheese ($12). Plus, if you can't finish your food, this bistro is pooch-friendly, so no need for a doggy bag. Simply plop your grub on the ground and let Fido do the rest.

The sprouted chickpea cakes, layered with organic butter beans, avocado,... More »
