This Bangladeshi diner shares its space with a Himalayan counter called Namaste, and the combination makes for an unusually delicious night out. At Kabob Palace, the guys who man the tandoor and steam table are exceedingly friendly, and also patriotic: A picture of the pyramidal monument to those who died in the Bangladeshi war for independence from Pakistan adorns almost every surface. Don't miss the freshly grilled breads, especially the meat-stuffed keema naan. Grilled meats are also a good bet, including heavily spiced chapli kabobs, so called for their flat appearance similar to a shoe, or chapal. But most everyone is eating biryani. Get yours with goat, and don't forget to suck out the marrow.
