Executive chef Chris Ward is at the helm of this eatery where a sleek and contemporary interior is in contrast to its location in a blink-and-youÃ?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¾Ã?¢ll-miss-it strip mall. Ward has earned the restaurant around-town acclaim and proudly pushes his medium-rare Forty-Eight Hour Braised Short Rib. The environment of rich stained wood and abstract art adorning the walls also make this an ideal spot for an upscale business lunch, an intimate rendezvous with a paramour or a corporate event in one of the three private dining rooms. For those interested in Bush sightings, the former Prez (W, that is) has been known to dine there as well. WhatÃ?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¾Ã?¢s more, the chef holds monthly cooking classes open to the public.

Perhaps the modern measure of a city's evolution, its maturity, its spastic lunges into sophistication, is the distinctiveness of its shopping mall food courts. Perhaps the days of greasy hung chow, fried chicken parts and bulletproof pizzas serve... More >

Pastry chef David Brawley has rolled and caromed like a food-service pinball of late. First he cut loose from Phil and Janet Cobb's Salve!. Then he made his way far up north to The Mercury, Mico Rodriguez's flashy new restaurant in the Shops at Wi... More >

There once was a place in Fort Worth's Sundance Square called Ellington's Southern Table. It wasn't long after the place opened and it was mercilessly skewered by the reviewers (not us...we pricked it politely) that it became Ellington's Chop Hou... More >
